Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart… In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” (NKJV)

Walking
with God

#1

Even though our understanding will never reach the depth of God’s understanding, we rest in knowing that He is faithful. His wisdom stretches far beyond what we can see, feel, or figure out on our own. And because He is a God who keeps His promises, we can lean on Him with confidence, even when life doesn’t make sense.

That’s why Scripture calls us to trust in the Lord with all our heart—a trust without doubt, a trust that is complete surrender to Him. It means inviting Him into every aspect of our lives: our thoughts, intentions, decisions, and actions. As we align ourselves with His Word, we begin to apply it to our daily lives—our daily decisions and actions.

This takes a daily approach: reading His Word with the intention to live it out. And as we trust and acknowledge Him, we remember who He is—the God who directs our paths, and whose nature is love.

Genesis 1:27 (NKJV) “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

1 John 4:16 (NKJV) “And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.”

It’s not about what we can get from Him. From the beginning, it has been about love—about abiding with Him. Loving God with all your heart will direct your paths in every season of life. He is peace and strength in our struggles, comfort and love in our pain, and joy in a sunny day.

This love shows up in the everyday places—at work, at home, and in every conversation. As we love God, we begin to reflect His kindness and goodness in what we do and how we serve. It shapes the way we speak: not to offend, but to encourage and build others up. And when we do wrong (often in small, daily ways), the Lord gives us a convicted heart that turns us back to Him. That’s why we keep talking to Him—praying throughout the day—acknowledging Him in all our ways.

Galatians 5:22–23 (NKJV) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”

Mark 12:30–31 (NKJV)

“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

God Bless.

God’s grace meets you right where you are, wrapping your heart in a love that never let's go.
